Love Niche S/S14 Paris collection

Last week we gave you a little glimpse into our S/S14 collection. This week Nisha has been buying in Paris, so we thought we would give you all another preview into the trends you will see this S/S at the Love Niche Studio!

First up we have some gorgeous silk bicycle printed tops, in either short sleeved, long sleeved or sleeveless. Perfect for your S/S wardrobe, they can be easily dressed up for a cocktail night with friends with leather trousers and statement lipstick, or dressed down for a casual day shopping with jeans or denim shorts. We also have these beautiful silk vintage car printed tops with floral lace back and sleeves, team with jeans (as shown) and a wedge heels for a chic daytime look. Now for our favourite trend of the season, pastels! We are a big fan of the pastel tones this season, especially that gorgeous nude pink! This shift dress is one of our favourite pieces of the new collection, with split sleeves and embellished cuffs, add gold accessories for extra wow factor for an evening look, keep hair down with loose curls for a super chic look. A lot of women who come into the studio always say they want to keep their arms covered, split sleeves are the perfect way to show a bit of skin yet keeping your arms covered, the split actually slims down the arms yet still looks sexy! The embellished pastel blouse (second image) again has those must have split sleeves. The embellished v-neck is very flattering for basically every body shape, the batwing sleeve keep this blouse from being too dressy, so you could easily take this top from day to night with the right accessories!Printed trousers are a must have this season, we can’t get enough! We especially love them in reptile print! We have a wide range of printed trousers available in the studio, in a range of colours, cuts and prints! We love them for daytime or an evening, extremely versatile, a staple in any summer wardrobe. It’s not just printed trousers we cant get enough of, we are also loving this snake printed knot blouse with floral lace neckline detail, this top is definitely on our summer must have list, stunning paired with denim and a wedge sandal heel.

Finally we have this beautiful 3/4 sleeved white dress with beautiful embellished petal neckline. This dress is definitely summer chic, team with statement earrings and gold bangles, a sandal or platform heel with hair in loose tousled curls you will definitely be turning heads! SS14 earrings!

The new season is gradually starting to come in to the Love Niche Studio! Since the weather is still pretty gloomy and we can’t don our favourite S/S14 trends just yet, we have been looking for a way to introduce a bit of summer into our daily looks. Luckily, the new collection of Love Niche earrings has arrived! Everything from nude pastels, coloured stones, crystals and pearls!

We love these cream and gold disc earrings with pearl details. They could easily be worn day to night, for any occasion! For an evening look sleek your hair back off your face and let the earrings do the talking, wear with your favourite LBD and killer heels, add a red lip for extra wow factor! These stunning crescent moon earrings are perfect for an evening look! They will definitely make heads turn with the crystal and pearl details. Either wear with a gorgeous dress or even try with leather trousers and a deep lipstick for more of an edgy glam look!We can’t get enough of these round turquoise stone earrings! They are ideal for adding a pop of colour during these gloomy months and will look stunning during summer with an all white look! To make the earrings pop even more try and wear with a clutch or heels the same colour. These unusual drop statement earrings are one of a kind. The coral stone is a gorgeous summer colour and looks stunning against the gold. The clear crystals give these earrings that extra wow factor and will definitely stand out against your LBD for an evening look! Again we would suggest to wear coral in other accessories such as your clutch, heels or a coral lipstick. You could also team with a coral blazer over your LBD to make the coral stone on the earrings pop and not get lost.

This week’s styling tip.

With the sudden change in weather last week we all realised that autumn was here! We have packed all our summer clothes away for another year and brought out the knits, furs and leathers.

Autumn is the perfect season for knits, you can wear a jumper or cardigan to keep warm without a coat. So this season the must have way to wear your knits is oversized. With a key trend being “borrowed from the boys” this season we should be thinking oversized, elbow patches, leather details, patchwork and large collars when buying new knits.

We have put together 3 looks for you to show you how we will be wearing our oversized knits, we have many styles/shapes/colours available in the studio to suit everyone.

First up we have this gorgeous heavy knitted oversized collar cardigan, we like to call it a coatigan, as it acts like a coat during the autumn. This is the perfect piece for layering, we have styled with a thin knit jumper in gorgeous warm colours. The skinny black trousers keep this look classic, however you could wear coloured jeans or add some texture with leather trousers. Simple silver jewellery finishes this look perfectly. Our second look is for those who like to wear colourful knits. Yellow is a surprisingly big colour this season, normally we associate yellow with spring/summer however it is brightening up our wardrobes this autumn! This oversized waterfall cardigan in patchwork is another gorgeous layering piece to add to any wardrobe which could be styled for day or night. We have styled it with a cream drape blouse (worn open in the photo) with a vest layered underneath, and staple black trousers which tie in with the black and grey colours on the knit.Our final look is more casual, we love the contrast between skinny leggings and the heavily oversized off the shoulder jumper. This jumper is so luxurious, it is super soft, mohair knits are the most wanted knits of the season. We have styled this look with a woolen scarf which has a tartan print (must have print of the season!) this scarf actually has a tiger printed on it, with the tiger being tartan, you can just make out his head & tail! The blue tartan also matches the dark rich blue leggings.Will you be wearing your knits oversized this autumn? …we hope so!
