We are so excited to share some of the beautiful pictures of our Bespoke Bridesmaid dresses from one of our clients Big Day. Jordan came to the studio in November to discuss all her exciting ideas which she had for her bridesmaids, she wanted a sleek and sophisticated silhouette. Her initial inspiration and ideas were based around a picture she had recently come across in a bridal magazine. Often for the first consultation for bespoke garments, most clients like Jordan have a vision in mind of what they want or they choose from our selection of sample dresses to gather inspiration from. We then tweak them to suit the body shapes and style. We then start to put the ideas and inspirations in place through our sketches, colour swatches, embroidery samples etc which help kickstart the design process. Fabric, colours and embroidery were all picked next from vast amounts of samples which we have to offer. The final bridesmaid dresses was based upon the silhouette of one of our existing samples dresses which we have present in the studio. The colour scheme was a soft blush pink, which compliments the feminine silhouette and fabric type. The main body of the dresses were made of a soft lycra fabric whilst a delicate chiffon was layered over the top starting at the waist band. The most detailed part of the dresses were the intricate embroidery which was situated along the neckline of each dress and giving all over coverage to the open back design. Once a sample of the bridesmaid dress had been created each of the 5 girls were able to try it on and gives us a chance to made alterations and changes to the dress, but this  process was helped with complimentary champagne and strawberries from the studio.
