Hot Fest Fashion Trends

Festivals are a great time for letting your hair loose and wavy and dressing casual but chic! Here are our top 3 favourite festival trends, and also a few tips to take you from Glastonbury to Gorgeous weekend wear .

1. Crochet and lace appliqué

When Miu Miu, Chloe and House of Holland put crochet on the catwalk, we admit we were a bit concerned. It is not such an easy trend to pull of so here is what we think you should pair it with. Crochet works as a festival staple, style with, crops tops with high-waisted denim shorts, mini dresses with scuffed boots; crochet skirts with denim shirts.

2. Fringing

This season is all about the fringe, from crop tops and skirts to bags and boots. Everywhere you look, you’ll find tassels, including lightweight suede jackets, tassels attached to the staple denim short and leather fringed skirts. Fringing is always a good look for festivals but can be worn for an everyday casual look by adding a fringed leather bag to your outfit.

3. Refreshed Denim

While most girls keep a few pairs of denim shorts around, this season we’re finding that denim’s taking a new form and we are sure you will love it. You’ll see plenty of denim rompers and playsuits on the high street, shift dresses, jumpsuits and overalls, so team them with a floral kimono or statement bomber jacket for the ultimate festival fashion look . Denim skirts are also back this season which can be worn for an everyday look with a simple tee, leather jacket and ankle boots.
