5 ways to wear a Touch of Fur

Touches of Fur have made a statement from the fashion runways in New York to our local High street.

Here at Love Niche we have received our brand new winter collection of silk pashminas, consisting of unique digital prints all in a range of striking colours and finished with a hint of rabbit fur. Our silk pashminas are the key ingredient to the recipe of wrapping up in style season after season.

The Pashmina will rapidly become your favourite accessory in your wardrobe now the weather is cooling down and winter fast approaching. They are the perfect statement item to keep your neck and shoulders warm, while a subtle way to conceal any unwanted flaws with adding a hint of elegance.

This piece is so versatile, taking you from day to night, can be be worn smart or casual ideal solution to add colour, luxury and a chic style to complete any outfit.

Here are a five examples of how to wear your pashmina:

1. The simple mirrored loop:   Wrap one end of the scarf around your neck, leaving this end of the scarf draping down from your back.

2. The classic loop:  Wrap the scarf around your neck ensuring the fur falls at the front to create a collar.

3. Belted Cover-up:   Place the scarf over your shoulders, add a waist belt under the scarf from the back and fasten on top of the scarf at the front allowing the belt to be visual at the front only. This creates the effect of wearing a top or jacket.

4. The Kimono:  Simply throw the scarf over your shoulders to make a simple outfit look a little more interesting

5. The shawl:   Place one end of the scarf over the opposite shoulder to allow the fur pom poms to sit on one side, front and back

City-Break Chic
The city break is the hardest venture to pack for; somehow a fashionista must squeeze into an overnight tote. Write laid back classic luxe into your holiday dress code. With classic tailored shorts and a simple white blouse topped with a smart blazer for the cool evening breeze. Team your outfit with a pair of  glamorous flats instead of heels for exploring those tricky cobbled side streets.

Hot Tropics
The key thing you will need for an exotic island Vay-Cay is a statement swimsuit. Beat the heat in a Kaftan cover-up to ward off the sun in tropical prints or florals and palm trees.

Hot Fest Fashion Trends

Festivals are a great time for letting your hair loose and wavy and dressing casual but chic! Here are our top 3 favourite festival trends, and also a few tips to take you from Glastonbury to Gorgeous weekend wear .

1. Crochet and lace appliqué

When Miu Miu, Chloe and House of Holland put crochet on the catwalk, we admit we were a bit concerned. It is not such an easy trend to pull of so here is what we think you should pair it with. Crochet works as a festival staple, style with, crops tops with high-waisted denim shorts, mini dresses with scuffed boots; crochet skirts with denim shirts.

2. Fringing

This season is all about the fringe, from crop tops and skirts to bags and boots. Everywhere you look, you’ll find tassels, including lightweight suede jackets, tassels attached to the staple denim short and leather fringed skirts. Fringing is always a good look for festivals but can be worn for an everyday casual look by adding a fringed leather bag to your outfit.

3. Refreshed Denim

While most girls keep a few pairs of denim shorts around, this season we’re finding that denim’s taking a new form and we are sure you will love it. You’ll see plenty of denim rompers and playsuits on the high street, shift dresses, jumpsuits and overalls, so team them with a floral kimono or statement bomber jacket for the ultimate festival fashion look . Denim skirts are also back this season which can be worn for an everyday look with a simple tee, leather jacket and ankle boots.
